Surf Information

Manzanillo is close to some of the best surf in Mexico. From barreling beach breaks to reefs that break like Trestles and Rincon, you are only minutes to just a couple of hours from uncrowded tropical breaks. There are several great breaks in and around Manzanillo as well as many in the state of Michoácan to the south and Jalisco to the north.

Revolución Surf Shop is the best resource for surf information. Owner Antonio Castañeda speaks excellent English and is a top guide to all the best surf areas (and the best taco stands). Revolución offers name brand surf and skate accessories, expert ding repair (including broken boards), and rentals.

Antonio is available for surf tours ranging from $60 per day or $50 per day for three or more days, plus his meals. Antonio will meet you at the airport in his air conditioned SUV and take you to the best spots depending on the season and conditions.
